2017 Danish Canadian Conference – Step into the Saga

Hosted by The Danish Canadian Museum in partnership with the Danish Federation

The theme of this year’s Conference is ‘Step into the Saga’. These are exciting times for the Museum with recent media coverage and winning the 2017 Wynn McLean Rural Tourism Champion Award and 2016 Heritage Recognition Award for new developments including an authentic Naust ‘Ship House’ and Freydis Joanna ‘Viking Ship’. Hosting this National event is also timely as the Museum celebrates its 25th Anniversary and the start of a new branding strategy that celebrates the story of Danish Canadians both past and present. Attending the conference is a great opportunity to meet and network with members of the Federation and the Danish Canadian Museum as well as the Danish community across Canada. We invite you to ‘Step into the Saga’ by registering to attend this event!
